Meditation Weekend's
Weekend workshop's are open to beginners who have little or no experience of meditating all the way through to experienced meditators
- all will benefit from joining in.
If you are new to meditating come along and learn a meditation practice to help overcome stress and learn to relax effectively,
which will also help you in your daily life.
We have a number of qualified meditation teachers available to teach meditations of the Hanmi School who have agreed to be available to teach,
give a talk and host discussions.
Attending both or either of the days is possible as both days are designed to be stand-alone workshops making it possible to attend for only one day and still get a complete experience - but try to make it to both days if at all possible to get the maximum benefit.
The workshops usually start at 10 a.m. on both days, and will run until approx.6 p.m.

Photo Blessing
Place a photo of a loved one who is ill or experiencing difficulty on the temple altar for healing and good luck. We require a recent photo, preferably fullbody, with no one else in the picture. No pets, and no cut-outs. Please include the full name and date of birth, and a self-addressed, stamped envelope (or email the photo as an attachment) so we may return your photo after the blessing. Workshops, Empowerments, and Initiation
Dharma Rite Services
One of the greatest services Dari Rulai Fa Yin Temple offers the community is to conduct dharma rites. A Dharma rite is a Buddhist ritual prayer ceremony where a group of esoteric practitioners gathers together and prays for a common goal. A group of practitioners who have experience working together with advanced states of consciousness can overcome an obstacle with relative ease that would be insurmountable for one person alone. All Dharma rites are conducted by initiated disciples and are held inside a mandala created and empowered by Living Buddha Dechan Jueren.
Why Do People Request Dharma Rites?
Most commonly we do Dharma Rites to help people overcome obstacles they are having with health, wealth, and luck. It is also common for people to request a Dharma Rite for a deceased relative. Sometimes Dharma Rites are held to celebrate a special occasion, like a holiday, or birthday, or to pray for world peace.
